From now on, all students can apply for the “Kremser social fund”. The financial resources are provided by the executive management of the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems as well as the ÖH IMC Krems. 

The Krems Social Fund includes the following support: 

– COVID-19 Social-/Hardship Fund 

– Cancellation Fees Fund 

– Psychotherapy Fund 

– Crisis fund

Your ÖH IMC Krems – Students’ Union

We now offer a free plagiarism scan of final theses (bachelor or master thesis) for students of IMC FH Krems! This service provides security as well as feedback on whether and where there may be a need for revision of the thesis.

This is how it works:

• Submit the thesis according to the requirements via our website
• the review report will be provided by e-mail

From now on, all students have the opportunity to participate in a book exchange with their “old” books. We are looking for books of any kind in any language, from bestsellers to cookbooks!

The “open bookcase” at Campus West in front of the Students’ Relations Office offers the unique opportunity to take books with you, but also to share books you have read out with others.

It’s as simple as this:

1. first choose the right book,
2. read it in the comfort of your own home or on campus
3. and finally decide whether you want to keep it or return it.
4. feel free to consider whether you have a suitable book for the “Shared Bookshelf” at home and simply take it with you the next time you visit Campus West, put it in the bookcase and make it a joy for new readers!

Please make sure that the books are in perfect condition and complete. The ÖH IMC Krems wishes you a lot of reading fun!

Especially when dealing with infections and the containment of contagious diseases, hygiene measures play a central role – without disinfectants, pathogens can easily adhere to surfaces and objects of daily life and thus pass diseases from person to person.

For this reason, the ÖH IMC Krems provides hand disinfectants free of charge for students at the entrance of Tract G as well as Tract G1!

In the 2nd regular meeting of the winter semester on 31.01.2022, it was voted unanimously by the Fachhochschulvertretung to donate 350 Euros from the budget of the social office to the non-profit association
“Rollende Engel” to donate.
Since the ÖH IMC Krems has traditionally donated the profits from the punch reception (which unfortunately did not take place due to Covid) for a charitable purpose every year, this will also be the case this year. The association ” Rollende Engel” fulfills Austria far their last desire to seriously ill persons, we hope it could be fulfilled with the donation some desires!

On Friday, 08.10.2021, between 11:00 – 13:00, together with the Radlobby Krems, the free bike check took place again at the Campus Krems.

The students of the IMC FH Krems were invited to have their bike serviced. For this purpose, all necessary work, which could be done on site, was done to ensure continued mobility.

As a special goodie, the ÖH IMC Krems distributed a free saddle cover to the participating cyclists.

On 29.09.2021 the first regular meeting of the FHV in the new semester took place. There were some personnel changes.

The position of the chairman was handed over from Mitra Azad to Peter Seyfang. Richard Parokkie was newly elected to the team as 2nd deputy chairman.

Stephanie Pfann was elected as the new head of economic affairs, Claudia Antony is now the head of international affairs, and Maximilian Klein is now in charge of public relations.

The new team brings a lot of experience with them: Peter Seyfang worked as a administrator in the Social Policy Office, followed by the Economic Affairs Office. Stephanie Pfann was a head of public relations , her former administrator Maximilian Klein is now in charge of public relations, and Claudia Antony is a long-time member of the chairmanship team.
