Every present cohort at the IMC FH Krems is electing its representatives yearly at the beginning of the winter semester. The function term generally is one study year and ends with the next election.

All students can run for office for this important task. The process is carried out completely through the “Election Tool“ at the eDesktop – from the candidacy, over the election until the announcement of results.

On the eDesktop all Cohort Representatives are listed. Please just follow hit path: Services / ÖH IMC Krems / Student Reps

Attention: if there is no Cohort Representative, then the respective cohort can not apply for cohort funding in the respective study year.

The Cohort Representation consists of a minimum of one representative and a maximum of three representatives per cohort. They are performing the tasks together.

The Cohort Representation has the following tasks:

1. the representation and communication of the interests and issues of the students from the respective cohort towards the superordinate Study Representation, the study programme director, study services and lecturers;
2. the continuous exchange with the superordinate Study Representation as well as the Chairing-Team of the University Representation at the IMC FH Krems;
3. attending the meeting of the superordinate Study Representation with right to speak and right to bring in motions regarding the respective study programmes, but with no right to vote;
4. the application for fundings by the Study Representation or the University Representation.

The candidacy can be withdrawn until the beginning of the election process. During the ongoing election it is not possible anymore to withdraw the candidacy. In case you end up being elected in the Cohort Representation, but do not want to be part of it, you can resign from the position. In this case please write an e-mail to ÖH IMC Krems.
