This data protection declaration informs users of the website www.oehimckrems.at and associated sub-domains about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the “Hochschülerinnen- und Hochschülerschaft an der IMC FH Krems”. We process data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003) and explain the possible data processing within the framework of our website below. Use of the website
When you visit websites, certain information is automatically created and stored – also on this website.
When you visit our website, our web server automatically saves data such as: the address (URL) of the website accessed; Browser and browser version; the operating system used; the address (URL) of the previously visited page (referrer URL); the host name and IP address of the device from which access is made; Date and time in files (web server log files). This is due to technical reasons and therefore represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit f GDPR. As a rule, web server log files are stored for a few weeks and then automatically deleted. These files will not be passed on by us, but we cannot rule out that these data will be viewed in the event of illegal behavior.

Data from the Plagiarism Check
As part of the plagiarism check, we process personal data that falls into the following data categories: name, personal identifier, email, intellectual property (copyright). We receive this data voluntarily when submitting the plagiarism check document. The purpose of this data processing is to determine the probability of plagiarism in the bachelor’s or master’s thesis using external plagiarism software. The deletion of the stored personal data takes place if the consent to storage is revoked, if knowledge is no longer required to fulfill the purpose for which the storage was intended, or if storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons. The automatic archiving takes place after approx. 1 month.

Contacting us
If you contact us using the form on the website, by e-mail, by WhatsApp or by phone we will only use the data you provide to process your request. Your data will be stored by us for two years in the event of follow-up questions or as long as necessary to process your request.

Entered data in form fields
All entries by users are expressly made on a voluntary basis. We process those personal data with the help of automation that you yourself voluntarily within the scope of e.g. Polls, announce the contact form. The purpose of the processing is the opportunity to inquire about your details or to transmit further information. Your data will only be made available to the owner and the responsible employees as part of their work for the company. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
