Join the student social survey!

You have received an e-mail in your mailbox – it is an online questionnaire on the social situation of students, in which students from all types of Austrian universities are surveyed.

The survey period runs from May to June 11, 2023. You already have received the access code from your university by e-mail.

The core questionnaire allows a comparison with other European countries, while the additional surveys on digitalization, mental health and well-being, and experiences of discrimination provide a deeper insight into the reality of students‘ lives.

Why should you participate?

• to collect important data about the social situation of students
• the data becomes public data and can also be available for research
• the results are an important data base for (social and higher) education policies
• the results show diversity and needs of students in the higher education system
• Facts and figures strengthen the negotiating position of the Austrian National Union of University Students.

This means that important figures of the effects of the crises – from pandemic to inflation – on the everyday life of students will be collected. Therefore – fill out the questionnaire quickly!
